Compost
Tea
Compost
tea is a liquid extract produced by diluting compost with
water. The extract contains a variety of organisms including bacteria,
fungi, protozoa and nematodes that are effective in treating
pathogens associated with foliar and fruit diseases. Compost
tea also contains soluble nutrients which supplies the
plant with an organic fertilization treatment at the time
of application.
Tree
Specialists monitors the quality of its compost tea
brewing operation through a process called
"Soil Foodweb testing" which allows us to
make adjustments in the microbiology in the compost
tea for increased efficacy against the targeted landscape
pest. To view a sample Foodweb report, click

Depending
on the situation,
compost tea can be applied by a variety of methods
including foliar, soil drenching or by deep root
soil injection.
