Root Zone Remediation
Soil compaction, sandy, infertile soils, improper mulching, and trunk flare disorders often prevent newly-installed landscape plants from flourishing and cause premature death of established trees. We use a variety of the latest tools and tactics to help solve these landscape issues:
- air excavation to expose buried trunk flares and root collar deformities
- soil aeration to break up soils compacted by construction activity, vehicles – even foot traffic
- integration of compost deep into the soil profile to improve water retention and long-term fertility
- surface mulching with our patented Forest Floor Mulch® Mix to protect the root zone, aid in water absorption, and restore the nutrient cycling process
